Huxley Perdu

Alone

January 6th, 2023

It can be hard to be grateful for what we have, even if we think those things should make us happy. Hux was disappointed with how his life had turned out. He wished that he could erase things that should make him happy. He felt lost in a world he thought was constantly against him. He continuously made decisions that would only make his life worse. When he does become truly lost, he will need to reform his view on life. If he wants to survive he will be forced to change far beyond what he thought was possible. Hux will come to understand that he will never need more than what he already has, and what he fears he has lost.

He Atoned For Me

October 30, 2019

He Atoned for Me is a compilation of soul searching poetry. This work expounds on the impact that Jesus Christ’s Gospel had in the author’s life. While they are written due to specific moments in his life. We encourage you to apply what you can to yours. Though it is Christian in nature, the works found within are non-denominational and available to anyone seeking comfort.

 A Bit About Me

My name is Matt, I live just down the street from Brigham Young University in Provo Ut. I have lived in Provo my entire life, attending Provo High School, playing little league at the local ballparks and of course swimming in the Provo River. Growing up I was an avid reader of basically any story I could get my hands on. Including a rather strange book I picked up in my middle school library about rollercoasters that come to life. It wasn’t until I was around seventeen when I, myself started to write. It started with funny little poems about living candles and swimming pool incontinence. Later I started to write about my beliefs. Things that really matter to me. That is what my first book “He Atoned for Me” is all about. Once I understood my love for writing I began to write longer, fictitious stories. Things that had always lived in my head. Odiosis is the first of those stories to be printed on paper, but there are many more to come. Some of which are already completed and set to be printed. I hope you will be able continue to dive into my mind and read them all some day.
